Chocolate & Berry Protein Porridge

This quick and delicious way to eat porridge is perfect for when the sun's out! Berries and chocolate are a match made for your breakfast bowl, and the added sweetness of honey coconut gives it a delicious edge. It is also a super tasty was to get some protein in you first thing, getting you ready for the day ahead with a satisfied stomach (as taste buds!).


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 sachet porridge oats

  • Milk (either normal milk or alternatives)

  • 15g approx chocolate protein powder

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 1 tsp desiccated coconut

  • 50g frozen mixed berries (you can use fresh too!)


RECIPE:

  1. In a pan, add your porridge oats to the correct amount of milk as per the packet instructions. Pop in your protein powder and cook the oats, stirring frequently to avoid lumps.

  2. Serve in a bowl and top with honey and desiccated coconut.

  3. Finally, top with the berries and enjoy!
