Banana & Peanut Butter in French Toast

You may raise your brow at this but I can promise you that this combo will not disappoint - it is delicious and filling all at the same time, and packs a good amount of the good protein, fat and carbs all at the same time! Plus the best part is when the peanut butter melts onto that warm bread and becomes all gooey 😋
INGREDIENTS:
1 slice sourdough bread (halved)â €
1 egg (beaten)â €
1/2 bananaâ €
1 tbsp peanut butterâ €
1/2 tsp coconut oil
METHOD:
Heat the oil in a frying pan.â €
Dip each slice of bread into the beaten egg until coated then place in the pan and cook each side for approx 1min each to create the french toastâ €
Remove the slices from the pan and apply a generous amount of peanut butter to the inside of each slice.â €
Slice the bananas and place on one slice then top with the other slice and enjoy!â €
